This book was written as a response to the health disparities in the African-American communities of the U.S. In particular, it was written to address some of those disparities that greatly impact the health and the lives of Black Women.

We want to acknowledge the differences in health outcomes that Black Women face, empower the reader with knowledge that can be implemented right now, and provide resources and support to help increase the health and vitality of each woman.
